Kabali Kamya and I celebrated our 40th bdays by doing an accelerated freefall
at the Yolo County Airport in 1997. This is one of my jumpmasters after the jump.

The day started with a 6 hour ground school where we were extensively trained on the jump to follow.
Especially stressed and repeatedly practiced was what to do if my chute didn't open properly.

Oct 25, 2021 - my new stem cells after being thawed for my first transplant. They were transported and delivered frozen. DMSO (Dimethyl sulfoxide) is used during the freezing process to prevent ice crystals from damaging the stem cells.
Oct 25, 2021 - my new stem cells after being thawed for my first transplant. They were transported and delivered frozen. DMSO (Dimethyl sulfoxide) is used during the freezing process to prevent ice crystals from damaging the stem cells.
The PICC line port on my arm where chemo, drugs, and now stem cells enter my bloodstream. During the transplant, my body suddenly became flush and heated, which was a reaction to the DMSO. They stopped the flow, waited about 20 minutes, and then finished the transplant. The last slide is a video of these on their way into my body.
